These days, it takes a lot to get me excited about something in hip hop. Don't get me wrong, I still love it, but most of the things I've been wanting, I've eventually ran into one way or another. One thing that has eluded me for the past four to five years has been a simple mp3 of a song. You'd think it'd be easy enough to find. Nope, no such luck. The mp3 I've been looking for is DC Scorpio's "Stone Cold Hustler Part II". I remember seeing this video once on "Yo! MTV Raps", it was the only time I saw them play it and I fell in love with the song. Lucky enough, I was recording the show at the time. I would play the video over and over again. DC Scorpio was from Washington DC and as far as I know, was more of a Go-Go artist than hip hop, but he did put out two versions of "Stone Cold Hustler". I have part one, but Part two has remained elusive in my quest to obtain. Lucky enough for me though, an anonymous person ("Hypersleep" was the email ID) sent me a link for the video, which at this point in time is more than good enough. It's just great hearing the song again.
I'm sure some of you will go "what the fuck does he see in that song", and I'll simply chalk it up to nostalgia. I loved this joint. Here it is in all it's goodness. Thanks for the video!

We're officially old. I used to watch that video on Rap City. Good song.
I would play the video over and over again.
Dude that was me. I sent it to you after I found it because I looked on your site for the video and saw the note you left.
This shit is still hot!

Great video! And very pertinent too, with rappers left, center and right going to the pen..ie Prodigy, Remy and Beans etc.
Your write up about this song and Yo! is identical to me. I remember watching this over and over on my tape of Yo!, but I could never find the LP. I'm guessing he never released a full LP (???).
DOG, you just made my day. This was me and my whole crew's favorite song in about 7th grade. I've spent YEARS looking for this on youtube. Sure, I wound up finding the LP on eBay, but it was the video and the dancing & backflips that was so dope to me. I'm on vacation in Orlando as I type this, rapping with the song word-for-word. You literally have just overshadowed my entire Wrestlemania vacation. THANK YOU!

Wow...now that brings back memories. I love this song...I used to play it all the time back in the day, it was in my rotation when I DJ'd back in the day at my college radio station.
props
Awww damn! Thanks for the ride down memory lane. I remember this bama had a tape back in high school. Being a DC native, I was actually kinda embarrassed when this dropped -- definitely didn't measure up to Rakim or Schooly D, or even Willie D and the Geto Boyz. I really felt embarrassed watching the video! Like the world was looking at this bama rep DC like that! I all but wrote this cat off. Thanks for the revival!
Damn I loved this song. Chris thomas, the mayor of rap city used to play it every now and again. This is the first time I have heard it in perhaps 15 years. It is exactly as I remember. This and k solos fugitive were my favorite songs of the day. Nobody knows what I am talking about when I mention this song.
I use to love hustler 1 and part 2, They use to play it on WOL 8pm countdown of the top 10 songs in DC. Does anyone else remeber that?I would like to get the mp3 file for part 1. Can anyone share?
Regina, I posted a Mp3 for Part one on this post

enjoy!
Thanks, I've been looking for this for years!!
Whoever found this song ought to be knighted. Slap me silly and call me Susan...I've only been looking for this song for 15 years...and when I ask people theyhave no idea what I'm talking about. Funny thing is I've never ever heard Hustler Pt. 1. And still haven't. Hip Hop til i die!!
Whoever put this up.... Love it. I remeber this from 8th grade. I have been looking for this forever. I loved this song and it's been a runnig joke with my best friend that we would never find it. It's still in my list of great songs. The moves are just great.
Oh man, any chance of a re-up on this one? I know its been a year, but this is perhaps the single greatest thing to come out of DC and it would make some people very happy to be able to check this again...word.
