It's always a joy to find an email from one of your favorite artists with free music inside it. That's what I was treated to today when I got an email from Count Bass D with a link to a free instrumental project he is putting out. This comes as an "appetizer" of sorts, with his album, L7(Mid-Life Crisis) scheduled to come out next month on 1320 Records. I haven't had a chance to listen to it yet, but I'm a big fan of Count Bass D, so I'm not sweating the quality of it.

Thanks Trav, Count Bass D is definitely a dope emcee. I look forward to this instrumental teaser while I wait for the new album.
Wow, Count Bass is on some shit. He's taking quirky to the next level. Can't say I was feeling the Primo/ Mobb Deep flips AT ALL. And "I'll Always Stay" makes a CD skipping sound like normal music. And this is coming from a FAN. Better luck next time.
