You can say what you want about Kanye... some of his lyrics might be wack, but he got a lot of strong tracks too, mostly older ones, though. This Track is one of my all time favs (The original version, not the one on Late Registration)
Anyway, he performed it at the Grammys and it was a really touching performance! I'm watching it over and over again!
I'm not really active at the moment, cause my exams are coming up, got the first one on thursday. I got my "SoulClap: 10 years of Hip Hop" post planned and some other ish... I hope I can do that next week! Until then... Take care!

I thought the performance was totally out of place and was a downer and should have been saved for a HBO special event or something. And I desperately wished they had turned the music up and his mic off when he said whatever the hell he said when he was on the mic after he got the grammy.

I agree, I second the motion to label him a dingleberry(lol). He's also a moron. I can't like or sympathize with morons, sorry!
There are a lot more talented and HUMBLE people out there that don't think the world revolves around them and their take on music.
During his acceptance speech he used the words "in good taste" in conjunction with the producers turning down the music while he talked about his mother. Fair enough, but Kanye + good taste don't add up, especially wearing that crackhead half-ass Captain Eo outfit.
Dude can't sing or rap. My problem isn't the rhymes he writes, its the way he delivers them. There's many an emcee on myspace even that can outrap this cat. Why is he singing? Anybody?
I don't know what you guys are Smokin. Kanye West is THE FUTURE. He is the freshest, most innovative MC we've seen in a while. And he produces/writes his own music. Kanye is a musical genius. And the song tribute to his Mother... He just lost his Mom. I thought the Tribute was very touching. If you didn't feel that you must be numb from the neck up... PEACE. Stay Positive People>

I've said before but I'll say it again - the only good thing Kanye has ever done was his production on Grav's album. His solo albums are wack... Wack!
