Middle of the week and I'm just trying to get through it. Fun shit. Anyway, a quick post that's sort of a follow up of something we posted back in July or August, the final installment of Dr. Dre's "Roadium Mixes". The first post is here, that explains the whole Roadium series and then Brian blessed us with the rest of the series except the Tony A & Dre made "Jam". About a month ago, none other than our man Dread from Bust the Facts hooked me up with the missing chapter. I figured I'd share it the rest of you.Tony A & Dr. Dre http://www.megaupload.com/?d=QO6X7J65
> JAM (JACK MOVE) mix begins (2 parts, 61m. Dr. Dre + Tony A):
> starts with "drop that bass", then spoken: "hi, this is 'Tony A' and Dr. Dre kickin' it live...")
> beats and cuts (Rick James, NWA, Rodney O, KRS-1, MC Lyte, Sweet T, Tone Loc, Ice T, EPMD, Big Daddy Kane, etc.)
> more beats and cuts (The Real Roxanne, with Barbara Lewis organ-hook (!) + a spoken intro by Ice Cube!)
> NWA: Parental Discretion Iz Advised (LP cut, early '89)
> Eazy-E: We Want Eazy (Ruthless)
> De La Soul: Say No Go (Tommy Boy, 5?/89)
> De La Soul: Me Myself & I (Tommy Boy, 4/89)
> Slick Rick: Treat Her Like A Prostitute (Def Jam, /88)
> His Majesti: Slow and Ill
> Too Short: Life Is Too Short (Jive, /89) and fades...
>> Black by Demand: All rappers give up
> Rob Base & DJ EZ-Rock: Get On The Dance Floor (entire jam) (Profile, /88)
> Sugar Bear: Don't Scandalize Mine (entire jam) (Next Plateau, /88)
> DJ Jazzy Jeff & The Fresh Prince: Brand New Funk (entire jam) (Jive, /88)
> Cash Money: Find An Ugly Woman (entire jam) (Fresh/Sleeping Bag, /88)
> J.J. Fad: Another Ho' (Ruthless, /88)
> ??? (The Mistress?): ("i'm the lady devestator"): female rap, might be called "(Just) Let It Go", can't remember.
> K-9 Posse: Ain't Nothin' To It
If any of the other links need updated, ask nicely and I might re-up them for you.
Wednesday means it's time to start thinking about getting those requests in. It was a little slow last week, but some of you newbies that check the site out, feel free to ask, I don't ridicule anyone for their requests....although I did have to bite my tongue on the Marky Mark....It's worth a shot and a reminder, go through the WYDU classics track listings, most of those things I have on album. Speaking of which, Volume 11 should be coming this weekend sometime.
The Request post will be moved back to Saturday this week, which will give you guys until about 10am Saturday Morning (MY TIME, Mountain Standard US Time). Someone was nutty enough to ask me to house sit for them this weekend so I have internet access all weekend.....I'll be living ghetto fabulous this weekend. (any fly honeys that want to chill in a hot tub all weekend with me, hit me up!).

I forgot about that Scaramanga. I used to have it, but now that you mention it, I haven't seen it forever. I'll have to look around for that.
Why I don't have that MC Shan, I'll never know. But I'm pretty sure Dread at Bust the Facts has it, if not I think I can find that rather easily.
GO14, you asked for that Copywrite awhile ago and I spaced it off...dont be afraid to tell me to wake the fuck up, I don't have as many brain cells as I used to and every weekend I lose more. It'll be up. It's probably still in print, but since you've been around for awhile, I'll do it. The rest of you, don't get any ideas.
Got the D Nice and Crusaders, I'll up it in Rapid. The Maestro has been upped before, on megaupload. I really don't like re-upping in different links, that just opens a pandora's box to everyone wanting seperate links for everything, and I ain't doing that. If for some reason you can get it to work, let me know and I might be able to do something since i have a little time this weekend.
misiu, do you need all five of them? (minus the Jam one?) I was under the impression you only needed one more. I can up the other four if need be.
FJ, gotcha on that Brother Arab LP. Everyone is looking for that Kilo. Seems like I've seen that Rated X somewhere. As far the Chilly Uptown cover, I just got a scanner, I'll try to figure out how to use the damn thing and post that up. As far as that Mob Style cover, I've only seen some crappy scan online. It wouldn't really be good for anything, but I'll see if I can track it down for you if you want.
Dread, I used to have that damn song....My "libary" of single mp3's is a collection of unmarked disks scattered everyone. I'll start looking for it while I try to sort out that mess
requesting Leak Bros. (Cage & Tame One) - Waterworld . . .just listened to Cage for the 1st time and this LP was amazing . . .problem is i downloaded a shitty rip of it.
If anyone could help me out, I am still looking for the following:
Dana Dane - Rollin Wit Dane
Skee-Lo - I Cant Stop
Big Daddy Kane - The Man, The Icon
House Party OST
House Party 3 OST
Also looking for: Ice T Presents The Westside
Snow - Murder Love
Poor Righteous Teachers - Declaration Of Independence.
Anything that anyone can help me out with would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
Hi travis,
sounds as if I can delete some albums from my list - great!
I found the same crappy Mob Style cover online, that's just not worth it, but if you can scan the Chilly Uptown cover I would be very thankful (it was hasr enough to get the album!).
Keep on! This is the best site and you're the man!!!
FJ
yeah travis. I need the 4 tapes. I have 3 other tapes which weren't posted here.
thanks man
WC, I found that Dana Dane in a store here in town this week. I'll go back and grab it this weekend
yeah man that wascals album is the album everyone is looking to find. its the album equivalant of elvis alive.
one of my boys actually heard part of the album once while driving in a car with someone who was a cousin of one of the members of the group. he said it was amazing, but of course when he asked to dub the tape the guy said sure tomorrow and he never saw him again...
yo speakin of Cage, anyone got the Weatherproof EP ?
thanks

I’ve been looking for a Rodium Swap Meet mix tape for years. It was by DJ Tony A (The Wizard) with an intro by Eazy E.
The intro goes: “Get busy, with Eazy, & Tony A on the 12 technics see. It’s a steal, & Steve is promotin’ ‘em. Dopeass tapes by the Wizard at the Rodium. Yo, fuck it up tony!”
peace ,DJ iNDi0.
Thanks for the Dre & Tony A that u shared by the way!
peace, DJ iNDi0
there is also a Rodium Swap Meet Mix titled Master Mix 89, the original master was sold a month after it was released, and half of each mix was released as a 12" on Z Rock Record listed here:
http://www.discogs.com/release/504493
Now, i'm sure that Underground Posse didn't do the mix, as they were ones that bought the master. I'd love to here that entire mix again some day!
peace, Dj iNDi0
Tony A iz the one on this tape, Dre just put his name on it!
