This is probably going to be a short and sweet post. I wasn't planning on dropping anything on this, but I upped it for the boys at Biff's and figured I'd share it with my readers (which are probably Biff's readers as well).
Pharcyde- Testing The Water EP (2000)
http://www.sendspace.com/file/9rgkhf
This was the 'Cyde's first release without Fatlip as far as I know. It kind of dropped as an promo only release at first then became more widely distrubted. I picked my copy off of Hip Hop Site back in the day. If you were a fan of the Labcabin.. you'll probably enjoy this album. It's pretty mellow for the most part, although Reinvented sounds like it could have been on Plain Rap.
Slim Kid Tre- Legend Of Phoenix (1999, 2000?)
http://www.sendspace.com/file/1yfojd
Finding anything on this album online is almost impossible. No cover, no real mention of it, although it did get posted up on Cocaine Blunts awhile back. I was a big fan of Tre' so when he started selling this on his flyingbaboon site around 99-2000, I grabbed it up. Just a warning, if you don't have an open mind when it comes to music, don't bother downloading this. It's more hip hop than his Liberation LP (I haven't heard his new release, but I heard it's more sing songy than anything he's done), but it's still uses a live instrumentation on all the tracks. All in all, I like to think I have a pretty open mind when it comes to music, but this album is really only so-so.

That's great, one of the reasons I do this blog, is to help spread music that doesn't get heard. Glad I can help.
